Some observations

If the article is correct, that boat is very undercanvased. Out J/boat's working jib and main about 1,400 SF for a less than 29,000 pound (unloaded) boat. They list over 54,000 pounds and a sail plan of 1,100 SF? We have a 53' J/160 with 840ish and 560-ish SF main/jig.) That's got to be wrong -- but then the boat seems very odd to me. If it's right: I guess they don't wan to go quickly into that dark night ;^))).

The cut-in hull "portslights" on the sides of the boat would probably be very confusing to anyone approaching them at night if the lights were on inside the cabin and the black-out blinds not pulled.

The ventilation issues would seem to me to be a big deal unless you always had the AC and a generator running. (Power and very large sailboats do that often, their Sub Zero refigerator/freezers need to be kept constantly runing anyway.)

If you've ever walked barefoot on a wood deck that has been baking in the sun, you'll know that it's deck shoes ONLY :^)))). That goes against the general approach that "All guests must remove their shoes before boarding rule."
