The Army Corps of Engineers had a pretty grim forecast for the levels of the Great Lakes a few years ago. We were already touching bottom around the club basin with our 5'6" draft, taking their forecast into consideration we sold the Islander. I'm pretty sure that was also the same day that the lake levels started going up.

We still talk about that boat, it's for sale again and has been through two owners since we sold it. One had financial issues the other decided to retire and move south. We even talked about buying it back although it has been "lightly maintained" since then, she is a sad looking girl again.
