I use 2 different ones on Windows laptops. I use Sony Vegas for the videos (DVDs) we have for sale. But that's a lot more $ than required! And requires a powerful machine.

For our Youtube videos I am using Serif MoviePlus X5. It's one version back from the new one, X6, but works great and is EASY to use. If you look you can get a copy for under US $40.00. AND, it works on low power machines, processor & cost! The machine I did all of the recent Youtube videos on is an Acer laptop I got for Winlink/Sailmail on the boat. It was less than $200.00 new.
