The Explorer charts, by Monty and Sara Lewis, have been my bible for the Bahamas for the past 15 years, ever since I watched them collecting their soundings in their trawler Saranade and saw how Sara gathered her information about each village. They haven't been quite so meticulous lately and you will find some out of date information, even with the updates on the Explorer web site. But I have never found a single error on any of their charts. If the source of your electronic charts is the Explorer data, you'll be fine. If not, be careful.
