I suppose you could blast up to Pennobscott Bay in a couple of days - spend a week - and then fight your way back.
Our first trip down E got us as far as Corea - we spent 6 weeks. Second trip we got up the St John river to Gagetown. That was a 9 week trip.
Two weeks is better than 0 weeks - enjoy them!
