... for insulated connectors ? This is mine, and for some reason it is failing lately. I can pull maybe 25% of the crimped terminals & wire apart by hand, whereas in the past I never could pull any part. And with this tool, I have the wire end into the connector at the colored dots side on the tool. I've heard they do wear and can be adjusted, but I don't see how mine can be adjusted, perhaps the die has worn, or the axle ... it's at least 10 years old, but it's not like I use it every day.
I'm thinking I really should have two ratcheting crimpers ... one for regular (double crimper) and one (single) for heat shrink connectors.
I've heard good things about the Ancor tools ... What manufacturers & models have you all had good luck with ?
