just got a call from State Farm, their marine electrical expert said that I could substitute a GFCI main breaker for the ELCI and that it would be an easier and cheaper fix. After I hung up I remembered that all the outlets on the boat are already GFCI, I'm not sure how adding a GFCI main breaker would make the situation any better.
