In Response To: Re: ELCI breaker ()

I went down after work and measured where the main 110v breaker is currently located on the aft bulkhead. The surface mount Blue Sea ELCI unit you referenced will fit, probably with a little larger hole. I have plenty of room depth wise and relatively good access to the current wiring. I ordered that unit with expedited overnight shipping so it should arrive tomorrow. I'm going to document the installation with photos but I'm told will need to get the surveyor to "sign off" that it was done. Although this was not what I had in mind, the suggestions you provided will make it relatively easy and less than the $1000 I was figuring for all new AC and DC panels.

On a less pleasant note, while down at the boat I saw that the head is leaking. I put some of the blue holding tank treatment in over the weekend, it is now all over the floor in the head. Rebuild kit was ordered.

I was troubleshooting the hot side of the freshwater system last night as well, there is no pressure. The main supply tubing under the galley cabinets is leaking at one of the junctions. That was all I could stand for one day and went home.
