Returning to the "breather" is probably just sending it back to where it started. There must be some vent on the crankcase. So I would take thaose and return it to the engine's air intake. Make sure that you have some type of foam filter on your engine's air intake to take out the bulk of the oil and clean it periodically. Sbmar.com makes an Envirovent system for this purpose which uses a separate filter.
