I have a Raymarine ST4000 autopilot on my 30' sailboat. The unit works well until it gives a "low power" message and the alarm sounds after about three minutes. Switching to Standby and then back to Auto clears the problem for another three minutes. Unit continues to function when the alarm is sounding.

Power at the unit is about 12.5 to 13 volts at the control head.
