Since your "bottom" is where 'the rubber meets the road' in sailing, it really is important.

When to pull tape when bottom painting ...
Did you roll-it, brush-it, or spray-it on? What type of paint?
New bottom job ... crushed limestone blast to original gel-coat ...
In that case, as soon as it looks dry is fine (though I'd still wait a bit)

I'm pretty sure I couldn't have done that nice a job. It really was perfect.
