Winds are tough! I left my boat on the dock and just caught it bashing the dock with one 1/2" nylon fender line cut off as the fender went below the dock as the boat rolled. A little abrasion but I planned to paint the topsides next year anyway(I do every 3 years).

I used to simply carry this boom up on my shoulder, even at low tide. This year-a little smarter,... I called my wife to ask if she would take one end. This boom may well give me the notice of when I'm too old to own this boat.

It's great fun seeing and talking to the last few people still getting their boats out. I'll get hauled early next week. This nifty truck rack carries the main boom and mizzen nicely.
