I'm not sure if it on purpose, the nature of the company or? Since we purchased this 2008 Hunter 27-3 I have been looking at similar boats online, for sale, owner photos and so forth. It kind of seems that Hunter starts with a bare hull, pretty much the same for each 27, then gives the production crew a big box of boat parts that they can pick and choose from?? Besides the obvious, a couple different factory option packages, I noticed that no two boats, even if they are the same model year, look exactly the same. There was a 2008 for sale in Indiana that had fixed port lights in the hull forward by the v-berth, ours does not but I have seen two others that do. The white nav light on the transom? Could be port or starboard side of the walk through transom. The cabin may have wood all bulkheads or wood trim only? Everyone I have seen a photo of has a different size and mount for the bimini top.
Very odd.
