Should have been more specific - he knew about the T-coils, just wasn't definitive about my HAs (Sonic FL40s). Reviewing the specs, it seems to me they do have the T-coils, but don't know if something is required to turn them on - haven't gotten that far yet. Curiously, he never mentioned that there were other models available that might suit me better - the FL40s seem to be at the bottom end of the offerings from Sonic. And yes, use with the stereo/TV system was on my mind and a first use for them as the wife likes to turn in before I do and there's not much between the TV and our bed!
