Call me old fashioned. An old friend and long term sailor named Joe, thought there were 'true' boat names. I knew exactly what he meant by 'true' boat names. He was remarking about some of the popular boat names today that sound phony compared to true boat names. What does a funny name say about a boat? An owner? They have a sense of humor?
