Up to now... I didn't cover it when the boat was hauled up the coast... and I have a feeling it was "over spun" while moving at highway speeds... I just doesn't seem to want to go these days.

It did a nice job of keeping the boat dry and odor free.

I do also have two dorade vents... no doubt those help too.

I am going to replace the older Nicro solar vent with a plastic surround with a newer one with a nice overnight battery and metal surround. They seem to be on sale at Defender right now.

My vent is installed in the hatch that is right above the head... great location BTW.
