My question for you is: At just $2.00/watt for panels today can you fit extra panels and skip the MPPT controller. The big difference in cost for MPPT vs a standard PWM controller would pay for enough additional watts of solar to eliminate the added complexity of MPPT and compensate for the theoretical loss of MPPT output. Many reviews of MPPT controllers have said that the gains are overstated. Do you have room for more solar?
