Heading out of Davis Straits towards Port Clyde on our first cruise north, I got a call on the VHF from Paul in the other boat. See anything ahead he said, like in the water? A little rough spot I said. And also the red bouy over to port? Indeed, I was heading for the wrong mark on the winding route. And directly for a shoal. Not as tricky as the Annasquam River, but a lot less forgiving!

I'd put Jerico Bay at the top of the worst pots place. Reminds me to get a new Hook Knife for the season!
