Photo Day! Hoped the control lines wouldn't be too short after all the rejected splices! 
or, project for a rainy (2.91 inches!) day, last Sunday.
My first double-braid eye splices for the new Harken traveler car. Not shown is the iPad mini, upon which I viewed endless videos of making splices. Finally followed one from Marlow. (Perhaps it was just the accent.) At the bottom is a reeving splice for the bitter end.
