If someone ran over that and got it wrapped around their prop, or whatever....

I'd use a big float with a long enough line to give you a general idea where the anchor is.

I have Spurs on our prop, but they don't cut too well at low RPM like you'd like someone to using in an anchorage.

I've not used a trip line myself. I've been pretty lucky a few times with catching things.
