Portland (OR) housing prices are rising very fast. Freeway underpasses have become campgrounds - what were once quaintly referred to as Hobo Jungles. Quite a few are taking to the river. We have some nice public (and free) docks maintained by the State Marine Board. There is a 72 hour limit which is ignored until the authorities run them off. Off to another dock somewhere else on the river. This guy likes city living. Just out of the picture to the left is a nice bay that can have a dozen or more "shopping cart" boats anchored at any time.
