Thanks for the Garhauer info... regarding sheeves... I'm not speaking of the ones at the top of the mast, but of the "wheels" in a fiddle block for instance... the metal body of said block is fine, but the "wheels" in such blocks and turning blocks, do NOT last in the sun... with the end result that one has a metal cage with broken sheeves and no way to replace them.
