Our yard has no travel lift, but two cranes with slings. Both cranes use the same bottom wash pad. Boats close to the cranes can be placed 'gunnel to gunnel' on jack stands. Storage space further from the cranes uses cradles moved into place by a trailer having removable and liftable cross bars. The trailer is moved by a truck with a hitch on the front. This also has the capability of placing boats 'gunnel to gunnel'. Maneuverability of the truck/trailer combo keeps the spacing between rows of boats pretty high. A self propelled & more maneuverable carrier for cradles with boats would be a benefit to our operation.
