About 3 years after you sailed it. Was sailing up on Gardner's Lake, dropped the front runner into a crack at about 40 mph, and almost killed myself. Decided I'd had enough fun at that sport and moved on. Sold it to a guy from Philly who drove up in a blizzard, loaded up the boat, and then drove home. Two weeks later (after he'd set it up several times on his patio - numerous emails) he and his son went up to Winnipesaukee and sailed it for about 5 hours until his son broke the aluminum mast. He reported that the thrill of the 5 hours were worth the whole investment. I still have thoughts of getting another one - they're incredible. The problem is that to be competitive racing today, the boat has to be on or near the front edge of the technology. The current composite masts are VERY bendy, and the sails have changed to suit.
Naaah, maybe I'll get a motorcycle...
