I can almost smell the moss and lichens, in the forest scenes. Do your dogs pick up ticks there?

(We went ashore in one place this summer that was badly tick infested, and we found 4 ticks when we got back to the boat. Two on the dog, one still crawling on my wife's neck and one on our settee cushion inside the boat. Gave us the creeps.)
