... this is my Max Prop zinc after about 2.5 months, from early August to end of October. I have another zinc on the shaft and that was in the same condition. During this time, the boat did some sailing, and never at a dock. Nights were either at anchor around Cape Cod or in a mooring field, with mostly day-sailing sailboats, no overnighting. It seems I've been getting 2-3 months out of my zincs for the past several years. I'm guessing I should get more, and I'm guessing I may have a grounding issue. Can most of you go a full season on the zincs you install in the spring ? Thanks, Cheers, John
