The guy that started it with a project Alden, changed paths and got rid of the boat. He is IT saavy and started us on a phpBB website. That was a few years ago and while the website is not at all active, it now contains important history and info for these old Alden boats like the Challenger.

Understandably, the owner wants out. He suggests we get rid of the phpBB and start using something like Google groups or similar. That sounds good to me but I don't know if we can migrate any - all of the info onto something so it's there as an archive at least. There are not enough of us and we are too inactive to make sustaining a pay for site a good option. I don't want to take it over and don't have the IT skills.

Any advice?
