The 2010 has been discontinued for many years, best guess is 6-7. The monchrome display will be worse than the Raymarine unit you had last year as far as visibility in sunlight goes. The chart in the Garmin is the old blue chart cartography which in its day was adequate for inland and coastal, the data on that card is old which may not be an issue in waters you know well. The depth shading and other features are much better better on the embedded cartography that all manufacturers have now including Garmin.

I'm not sure what your budget is but new color optically bonded displays from all manufacturers are so much superior to the older TFT displays that comparisons are irrelevant. I can even use them with polarized lenses! That monchrome display is impossible to see with polorized lenses.
