Have a 3208 Garmin, works fine, visible in bright sunlight under dodger, has full US charts built in. Biggest negative is proprietary chart chips for additional area coverage are NLA from Garmin. Can find them on Ebay if you are very patient for Carribean, Central and South America. Haven't seen any other area chart chips but may be able to find on Ebay specific to area you want to go.

IIRC, the 20** model number means no built in charts so you will need appropriate chart chip for any area you want to go to.

Garmin's new chart plotters are cheap unless you want a bigger display than 8" or so and have a lot more capability with Radar, Sonar/depth sounder, AIS compatibility.
