It sounds like he doesn't have any problems that money won't fix. The problem is, whose money? With the hard times that have hit the marine industry, if true, it sounds like Hunter is in financial difficulties.
While no one should expect a new boat to be perfect, it seems that this buyer has some real serious build issues. Spider cracks after six months? Misaligned cabinetry? Hunter has some quality control issues.
It sounds like the dealer is making a good faith effort to correct problems, but like Phil posted in the thread, the distance is working against them. Hiring subcontractors is expensive. I'll be surprised if the dealer makes a profit on this sale, but good on them for trying to make things right.
