I thought sailing was supposed to get me *out* of screwing with gasoline (pic)

I'm slowly getting out of the 2 stroke business, down to a weed eater & leaf blower for the yard, and a Yamaha 9.9 outboard that burns 100:1 mix. But the Honda 2 hp 4 stroke has me going out every few weeks with a turkey baster to suck out the gas/water mix from its internal tank. That's fun. I let the water + ethenol settle out and feed the gas portion through my truck 1 qt per 30 gallon fill up.

For old 2 stroke fuel, I like to stick to an arbitrary 1500:1 mixture minimum to burn through an expensive 4 cycle engine. That would equal one half gallon max of 50:1 mix into 15 gallons of non mixed. I run 4 or 5 gallons through my '98 truck every year & it doesn't care one bit.

But it doesn't really make sense. $20 worth of gas vs potential $1000's to fix an automobile engine? I can't help myself though. The oil change place is happy to take any sort of used petro products, and I should give them all the old crap I generate, but...
