I have been in San Quintin twice - it is a wide shallow bay - we did night approaches both times - there are a lot of lights on shore from the recent development - despite what the 10 year old Charlie Charts report says about it being remote. The best anchorage is aboout 100 yards off the fishing panga's - for 150 boats though somebody is bound to be outside in the swell line - where it would likely be pretty rolly.
