I'm getting to the point where I want to travel, but am no longer interested in tacking in light air for 10 hrs, when I could have just as easily have motored there in 2. I'm enough of a purist, that I would never do that to a sailboat, so the next logical step is a displacement hulled smoker that can do 10 kts. Which translates into about 50' of waterline.

So, we shall see.
