How frustrating is it to get fuel or something else at a marina and then to have your card declined? We spent several months in the Bahamas, and three different cards from three different banks kept getting shut off for "fraud prevention". We carried multiple cards just for this reason. This was even after I told each company, multiple times, that we were traveling through the Bahamas. "I'm sorry for the inconvenience sir, but it's for your protection." One of our cards got shut off after EVERY use, even after I talked to the company. It's rather frustrating, and a common occurrence I heard from many cruisers out of the US.
