Steve, We've done the same with Barclay and Deutchebank, however, here in Italy they charge me at the barclay. the operators tell me all kinds od things - just reading from a sheet, but basically say only Barclay in the UK. Well, Barclay all thru Spain didn't charge. I can't find out why now in Italy they charge. The latest was I must have had a waiver. called who they said to call and was told that "we dont do waivers on personal accounts". This was after the attendant told me the charge was 3%. I just can't get an answer.
