I hadn't thought about the collars as dangerous in a fight. Hers is one of the quick-release type, and it has her name and my wife's cell phone number on it, but it's not a bad idea to just take it off when we're going walking and we know a puppy brawl is coming. Gator is only a few months old, and will grow to be about 90 lbs. Libby is 9 months old and around 80 lbs. That's a lot of puppy energy!
