Someday maybe, but the Frig Box redo won't happen ...

... this year, too big a project. I will have to cut these frig hatches in to replace existing ones, so I'm wondering if it will be worth it. Would be nice and best to start from scratch, but I don't have the time or the money now. My top lid and front facing / opening door can be replaced almost identically with one of the GB or rparts hatches, there will certainly be surgery ... some cutting, and epoxy resin & foam work, and finish, but I think it's doable.

There is a company in Ohio I've talked to that will make custom sized vacuum panels, they seem good > Thermal Visions, if I go the expensive route of vacuum panels, I would probably use these.

I noticed the rparts knockoffs were about half the cost, also noticed they are half the R factor too. As this project will be mostly (my) labor, I'll probably spring for the GB hatch if I take it on.

thanks, cheers, John
