. . . one of the last Newfoundland outport communities, tucked in an amphitheatre-like bowl in a small fjord. The daily ferry that is the only connection to the outside world is the red boat in the bottom left. No cars, no trucks, just paved walks (which the locals drive their atvs back and forth on). There is a lake on the plateau above the town, with a waterfall cascading through the center of the settlement. Great hiking starts from the waterfall.
