For several years I have been editing digital photos with MS Photo Editor (it is quick and simple) and Photoshop elements version 4 (more powerful but slower and more complicated.)

I have played with Photoshop full version but it is more advanced that I can use, or want to pay for.

Photoshop elements version 8 looks interesting, and is on special at $60.

I have use Picasa a very little, and the current Vista freebie from Microsoft.

What do denizens recommend for an amateur photo editor, under Windows 7 to do work with shotls like those on www.McCubbin.ca
