Rulon is a reinforced PTFE (Teflon) material we use in a lot of industrial applications. It's slippery, doesn't absorb water and will not creep with load over time like UHMW. We get good pricing from our suppier. Let me know if you need one made.

  - If you get a plastic sleeve or bush made, be careful
    - I think that's why Evans suggested UHMW
      - UHMWPE will be more slippery than Delrin, except possibly Delrin AF...
    - Plain bearing clearances
      - Shaft finish (pic)
        
        In polishing round, slow bearing surfaces like shafts I've had good luck with Crocus Cloth. (pic)
