The easiest way to process and image on the Mac is drag it into Mac Mail, in the lower right hand corner you can set the image size. Then drag it out. Of course since it's so easy it doesn't have any details to play with like the EXACT physical Size or the Target Size. But it works, it's fast and it's easy.
