Very private response.

We decided to stay in Bocas for Christmas and new year. They have the only 'Parade of Lights' in all of Central America and we're entered. How could we not after the Dana Point honors. Funny down here. The town square has a Christmas tree you can walk through and the bandstand is the manger. I always thought that Christmas trees Santa and was weird in California and here I am in Panama with Christmas trees and Santas everywhere. Really weird.

Heading out tomorrow for the Zapiddias. The only real white sand beaches and palm tree islands in the area of Bocas. Yesterday we anchored 5 miles from land in a bunch of mangrove patches. No land in sight, just mangroves and an anchorage in the middle of a 20 mile long bay.

I think that January will find us returning to the San Blas and then on to Cartagena.

Just dropped out of the 'Southbound Group'. It can't relate to it anymore. It's all about the Sea of Cortez and thats 2,000 miles away.

Say hi to Anton and Rita for us. They have that big Freedom. Wonder how they like cruising in it.
