We've had rain almost every day since we got here. We had 4 beautiful sunny days a couple of weeks ago and then rain again. I understand it's been like that since July. That would be rain 80 percent of the time for the past 6 months. Sometimes 10 inches a day.

Good news is that the rain is becoming less frequent as the days go by and the incredible and frightening lightning that takes place June - August has been long gone.

We're leaving for the San Blas and Cartagena next week.
