him at this Christmas dinner party and we were talking about various subjects through out the evening. I had him pegged the same way after about 10 minutes. Everything was about how much his house cost, how great his boat was and it did this and that but due to the situation I was sort of stuck. We started talking about different people and boats and Wahoo and you guys came up. He told me about the "foot long" scratch and the check. He said that taking a check wasn't something that he wanted to do. By this time Denny had made it quite clear that we were good friends so he was toning it down a bit. When I told him that I could guarantee that the check would have been good he didn't want to hear it. It was getting towards the end of the party so we all just kind of let it drop. Suffice it to say, it was an interesting evening.
