We've got a total of about 25" now from the two combined snows.

I started to shovel a path to the shop before this latest round. There was about 2" of solid ice under the snow. Then, sometime last night, it turned from soggy snow to sleet and there is another inch or so of sleet/ice on top of the hardened snow on top of the ice from the last storm.

I quit shoveling and got out the sawdust... thank god I work from home. I can afford to sit here until the crap melts.

Wifey on the other hand has meetings Monday, if they're not canceled. She'll shovel the drive in the morning if she can. (I told her, I would be happy to get her car out if she wants, but I am not shoveling snow that will be melted in a week.) She's unwilling to let me use my snow driving skills, when she can't do it. Instead, she will spend hours shoveling tomorrow, to prove she doesn't depend on me. Ain't wimmins lib grand?
