Finding even an available mooring in Miami will be tough as there is insufficient supply. And relatively expensive.

These are two city run marinas, but last I checked they had wait-lists:

Crandon Park Marina 305-361-1281
Dinner Key (305) 579-6980.

You may have better luck in the Ft. Lauderdale area.
