a few pounds of propane in a tank stored outside the cabin is not the same as the amount of propane needed to run this thing as an genset replacement or a main supply of energy (propulsion). Yet, as you said, is enough to blow boats up.

There are two things I'm afraid in a boat: fire and lightning. You lose control of the situation in a hurry.
