I have been using Poliglow for 5 years here and Jax and love it. My stbd bow gets full sun all afternoon/evening and starts to look pretty bad if I wait a full 12 months between applications (the instructions say that it may not last 12 months in tropical climates). I find that doing it every six months is actually a lot less work because I do not have to strip anything. I can do a reapplication in less then 6 hours total on my 25' boat. About three hours to strip any small bad areas, wash and dry the hull, then another three to apply six coats of Poliglow. Depending on how bad your hull is, the initial prep may take a while. The green hull on my Nimble was badly oxidized and it too me about 12 hours for initial prep. I have two tips if you decide to use Poliglow: 1. Do not cut corners on your prep work. 2. Do not apply in direct sunlight.
