Basically, for every amp hour you put in, you only get 0.9 or 0.95 amp hours out (the rest winds up being dissipated as heat or some such). The Links have a configuration setting that adjusts for this, the CEF or Charge Efficiency Factor. The Link normally automatically calculates it, but this can be overridden by the user. You might want to check that this isn't the case with yours.
