The local area is still filled with boats for sale that the original owners purchased new. Most are long overdue for regular maintenance and VERY overpriced for their conditions. Many of the local clubs are now looking for new members becuase these people are getting out of boating one way or the other.

I hesitate to go anyplace other than the Great Lakes though. Getting a used saltwater boat and bringing it here just does not seem like a great plan. We have several new boats at the club from the Lake Huron area that the new owners are really pleased with.
